i'm now at my in-laws for a week. we have moved out of our old place saturday and we don't move into our new place until saturday, so in the mean time we are at his parent's place which is next door to his sister's place and her three small children. her boy is six, and her daughters are a year-and-a-half and six months older respectively.

i have nothing to do here. all the immense and constant stress of the past two years has completely been removed. i have collapsed. my head is killing me and i want to hibernate. unfortunately, i still have the discomfort of having no idea how i'm expected to behave in someone else's home for a week, someone who is family but isn't so is familiar but isn't...

i just want to be in my new home...

and i have a friend who ships from kuwait to baghdad tonight.

there is just something so...alive about your work that really catches my attention. it resonates with a deep, usually hidden part of my creativity. i'm a writer, so that aspect is a bit harder for me to express in my work. i love finding it from another artist. :love:

yep, i'm here. this is where i've dumped some of my photography. i really need to work on it more. i've gotten a little sidetracked with my writing. apparently i only have time to actively pursue one artistic hobby. or maybe it's the ADHD

it's been diagnosed so i can offocially blame it!!!lol

Heh-- well, I've found that one creative endeavor often drives out the others. Occasionally I pull off being artistic and being writerly at the same time, but most of the time I get obsessed with one one week, and the other the next. ;) Apparently, I don't have the attention enough to spread that far-- and I'm not ADHD! (In other words, don't feel bad. I also go chasing after the shinies.)
